Case Summary
CYL EnviroConsult Ltd. delivered the specialized engineering design and stability supervision for this Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) project. TSFs are high-risk structures that require rigorous engineering, geotechnical analysis, and environmental safety measures to prevent containment failures and groundwater contamination.
Our scope covered site selection, feasibility mapping, detailed embankment design, and water balance calculation. During construction, our resident engineers provided QA/QC supervision, monitoring material compaction, liner installation, and structural instrumentation to guarantee that the facility was built in complete alignment with design specifications and ICOLD standards.
